The
Remnant People

"Let all be
careful not to make an outcry against
the only people
who are fulfilling the description given of
The remnant people,
who keep the commandments of God and have faith in Jesus. . . .
My brother, if you are teaching that the Seventh-day Adventist
Church is Babylon, you are wrong.
--Testimonies to Ministers and
Gospel Workers p. 50, 59

1. Question: Do those among the true "Remnant of God"
denounce the Seventh-day Adventist Church as Babylon?
"Beware of those
who arise with a great burden to denounce the church....
Is this the message we have to
bear to Seventh-day Adventists? I tell you, no!
God has given no man
any such message."
This Day With God p. 172.
Answer: "I tell you no! God has given no man such a
message."

2. Question: Whose work is it to call attention to the
Seventh-day Adventist Church in this way?
"For
any man to call the attention of the world and other churches to
this church, denouncing her as Babylon, is to do a work in harmony
with him who is the accuser of the brethren.
Is it possible that men will arise
from among us, who speak perverse things, and give voice to the very
sentiments that Satan would have disseminated in the world in regard
to those who keep the commandments of God?" The
Faith I live by p. 305.
Answer: It "is to do a
work in harmony with him who is the accuser of the brethren."
Lets remember that the "Dragon is wroth" with the remnant. If he can
confuse Adventists about who Babylon is, so that we turn our
attention against our own church, causing confusion and
disorganization among ourselves and "airing our dirty laundry before
the world," he would do more for his cause against our church
than through any other way. Many Sunday keeping Christians
publish anti-Adventist books and websites. It is a sad thing to
realize that splintered Adventist groups have more destructive
material against our church (and thus our message) than all other
groups combined! This is exactly like the Civil war of the 1860's .
Brother against Brother, and Satan is pleased with this.

3. Question: What is the result of teaching
this kind of message?
"Should many accept the views you advance, and
talk and act upon them, we would see one of the greatest fanatical
excitements that has ever been witnessed among Seventh Day
Adventists. This is what Satan wants." --1SM 179 (1890).
Answer: "We would see one of the greatest
fanatical excitements that has ever been witnessed among Seventh-day
Adventists."

Conclusion
"God has given
no man such a message"
This Day With God p. 172.
